Spring Quilt Block Pattern

Dimensions include a 1/4" seam allowance.

 Cut 1: 2 1/4" square from each print

 Cut 4: 3 3/4" squares, green, then cut them in quarters diagonally to yield 16 triangles

 Cut 2: 6 1/4" squares, muslin, then cut them in quarters diagonally to yield 8 triangles

 Sew a 2 1/4" print square to a short side of a green triangle. Chain sew each remaining 2 1/4" print square to a green triangle, as shown. Cut them apart and press the seam allowances toward the green triangles.

 Sew a pieced unit to a green triangle. Chain sew each remaining pieced unit to a green triangle, as shown. Cut them apart and press the seam allowances toward the green triangles.

Hazy Daisy, pattern 3

 Sew a pieced triangle to a muslin triangle. Chain sew each of the pieced triangles to a muslin triangle, as shown. Cut them apart and press the seam allowance toward the pieced triangle.

 Lay out the units in the block arrangement, as shown. You may choose to arrange the colors randomly or to match them in each square.

 Sew the units into squares, as shown.

 Join the squares to complete the block.
